Be More Productive with Keyboard Shortcuts - fotosam @ 2:15 pm
It’s amazing how much more productive you can be by using keyboard shortcuts. Every time you take your fingers off the keyboard, you’re adding time to your production. Obviously some things can only be done with a mouse, but it’s best to limit mouse use whenever possible. For example, many functions (i.e. copy, paste, save, open, change application, etc) can be done with a keystroke instead of the cumbersome alternative of moving your mouse to the menu and trying to select the correct choice. Here’s two really good productivity boosters: Mac apple (command) + tab This one will let you move from one application to another. It’s really useful when you’re multitasking. Mac apple(command) + `(called a grave accent, it’s the key above the tab key) This shortcut lets you cycle through the files within your current application. For example, you can flip through multiple open images in Photoshop. If you didn’t know about them, give them a spin! These examples are universal system shortcuts, but there are so many good keyboard shortcuts for specific applications like Photoshop. Post some of your favorites! No Comments »No comments yet.
